Looking for some inspiration for your engagement session? How about an adventure/editorial session at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah?! For couples that aren’t afraid of thinking outside the box when it comes to plan an engagement session, this place is absolutely insane!

Martha & Daniel killed it for this styled shoot! They had fire inside them and you can feel their love for each other! I had and amazing time photographing them. We actually had 2 sessions together in two completely different landscapes while I was in Utah. I’ll be sharing about the other photoshoot in another blog post, so stay tuned for more.

The Bonneville Salt Flats are a vast, otherworldly landscape located in western Utah. The flats are made up of a thick layer of salt that is left behind when the Great Salt Lake recedes. The flats are a popular destination for photographers and tourists alike, and they make for a stunning backdrop for engagement photos.

If you’re planning an engagement session at the Bonneville Salt Flats, there are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind. First, the weather can be unpredictable, so it’s important to check the forecast before you go. The flats can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter, so it’s important to dress appropriately. You’ll also need to be aware of the wind, which can be very strong at the flats.

If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable engagement session, the Bonneville Salt Flats is the perfect place.

Here are some tips for planning an engagement session at the Bonneville Salt Flats:

  • Choose the right time of year. The best time to visit the Bonneville Salt Flats is during the spring or fall, when the weather is mild.
  • Pack appropriately. The weather at the Bonneville Salt Flats can be extreme, so it’s important to pack appropriately. You’ll need to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and comfortable shoes.

  • Have fun! An engagement session is a special time, so relax and enjoy the experience.
