I absolutely love New Hampshire! There are so many beautiful places to explore.

When Sam contacted me to capture a surprise proposal in the White Mountains I jumped with excitement. I knew this would be so special since he and his fiance Jane are from San Francisco and were visiting the New England area for a few days.

Sam had everything planned out already in his head. I was waiting for them at the spot he chose for the proposal moment, pretending to be taking landscape photos. When they arrived I waited a few minutes and then approached them asking if they wanted me to take a photo of them but with my camera and then I would email it out to them.

I started taking some photos and then when Sam felt it was the moment he went down on his knee and popped the question! In that exact moment it started to rain a little and it felt so magical! I just loved Jane’s reaction! They were so happy and couldn’t stop dancing and jumping around!

I’m sure their New England trip will be unforgettable and I couldn’t be happier for having the privilege to be part of it!
